Thinking of Adopting?
Unlike dogs and cats, reptiles require specialized care and may not be suitable for everyone. The animals we have taken in have all either been abused in some way or given up because they were no longer wanted. These animals deserve the chance to live a long healthy life in a forever home. Therefore, all of our volunteers are dedicated to making sure these animals go to just right home, who is ready, willing and able to properly care for them for life.
ADOPTION PROCESS...
- Fill out an adoption application completely, your answers should include brands and as much info as possible.
- We will take a few days to check your application before we contact you to move forward.
- You will then be asked for photos of your current animals and enclosures and/or photos of the enclosure you plan to use for the new animal. This is how we do our virtual house checks now. It is important for us to see how you keep your current animals. No one will be approved without this step.
- Based on photos and application answers, you will be approved or denied.
- If approved, you MUST have a proper set up ready before taking home an animal.
- At adoption, you will need to sign the adoption contract which includes a NO BREEDING clause.
- There is an adoption fee to help with our expenses. The fee is listed on each animal's bio below.
- We are happy to adopt out of state but you MUST drive here to get the animal, no animals are ever shipped.
Sponsor one of our Adoptables
Choose the Sponsor Me button beside the animal. You can choose your monthly donation amount. Some of the animals who have been here a long time, have their own care fund. You will be sponsoring them by name. Other animals (such brand new residents) will have a link to our General Adoptable Animal Fund. You will be sponsoring an 'adoptable', not a specific animal. When you click on the link it will tell you if its for that specific animal or for our general care fund. Your sponsorship continues monthly until you cancel it. Or use the button here to make a one-time donation to be used for all the rescue animal care needs.

Squillium Fancy Son
Bearded Dragon Squillium is quite the angry boy! He has so much personality. He does NOT like to be lifted but he is happy to hang out with you. He is also extremely aggressive towards other animals, bearded or not and they stress him out. He wants to be your one and only. He requires a home that can accomodiate his need for his own space but would love to be somewhere where he can watch his humans. Cranberry Sauce
Bearded Dragon Cranberry Sauce is a man with A LOT of personality. You'll be talking about him around the thanksgiving day table. He is the brother of Squillium Fancy Son and just like Mr.Son he was not very socialized. He is cage aggressive unless you have his favorite thing in the whole world, food glorious food. Once out of his tank, he is pretty friendly but he is very ready to explore his world. He's been working on settling down and is ok to do so in a comfy environment. He would love a throne to sit at the end of the table, or a lazyboy chair with his name on it to watch some food documentary.

Sasquach
Male Leopard Gecko Sas has rarely been seen since his surrender. He is not the kind of gecko who likes a lot of excitement. If you're the kind of person who loves to relax with a good book and some light music, then he would love to join your home! He will not do well with young children but is ok with handling and doesn't mind a good cuddle if it is just you and him.

Butter
Female Leopard Gecko Butter has been with us for an incredibly long time. She is well rounded and would do well in any kind of home, butter has seen it all! She has zero fear of dogs, cats, children, noises, nothing can phase this girl anymore. She is looking for her forever place in life and hopes she can find it with you! Butter has laid eggs recently and will probably continue to do so as this is her second time.

Nova
Argentine Black and White Tegu Nova has come a very long way from her origin. She was found roaming the streets of Massachusetts bothering the local cats and wildlife. She was very feral at that time. Since working with her she no longer is a wild girl. She does not tolerate handling but has been allowing petting. She needs a lot more socialization and requires someone who will continue to work with her. She is a great eater and a fantastic escape artist however child proof locks seem to do the trick! She will only go to a home with experience handling and taming tegus as she can and will bite at times.
Adoption Fee: $100 Location: New Hampshire |
Speedy
Iguana Speedy is a very young Iguana. He is decent at being handled if you can catch him in his enclosure! He requires someone who will continue to work with him to make him a fantastic adult. He will only go to a home who is prepared for his adult size! There are no exceptions to this! He currently has his entire tail which is pretty rare and we hope he keeps it that way! He is eating very very well!

Ralph
Ball Python ***SPECIAL NEEDS*** Ralph is a 12 year young ball python with a fantastic personality. He loves to people watch from his tank. He is still gaining weight to be up to his ideal size, however he enjoys smaller frequent meals instead of large meals. His new home will need to accommodate his eating habits as he has never refused smaller rats but is terrified of large ones. Email us about his needs!
Adoption Fee: $50 Location: New Hampshire |
Nagini
Ball Python Nagini is EXTREMELY social and curious. She loves puzzles and loves interaction. She will do well in a home that gives her the stimulation that she craves. With this love for adventure, she can get into trouble with escaping so she will need a locked tank. She enjoys eating two smaller rats instead of a large one although she is becoming more comfortable eating a proper size now.
Adoption Fee: $50 Location: New Hampshire |
Big
Female Ball Python Like her name, Big is...well big. She is a mildly overweight girl who has one thing on her mind and that is food. She is very sweet outside of her enclosure but she has accidentally struck at a hand when inside. She sincerely does not mean it and just has eyes bigger than her stomach. Due to this she requires a special home that can help continue to teach her that not everything that comes in her tank is food. She has never struck once outside.
Adoption Fee: $50 Location: New Hampshire |
Skellington
Carpet Python Skellington has your typical carpet python attitude. He allows handling but isn't a huge fan of it. He is hook trained which helps out a lot with his temper. He used to be very food driven but has periods of not wanting anything and then becoming very hungry again! He will require a large space and is not a good candidate for those with children who wish to handle him.
Adoption Fee: $50 Location: New Hampshire |
Squibbles
Bearded Dragon Squibbles doesn't seem to have much for brains but he makes up for it in beauty. He is very aware of his surroundings and would love a home where he can be the center of attention. He really enjoys to be social with you but doesn't understand the concept of holding on to your shoulder so a home with older children may be best for his safety. He's a pretty picky eater with veggies and will need extra bugs with supplements.
Adoption Fee: $50 Location: New Hampshire |
Nyx
Leopard Gecko Nyx is a really sweet girl. She would be fantastic for a home with younger people who wish to handle her often. She is a gorgeous purple color. She has been with us for a little longer because of some egg issues but we have learned that giving her extra humidity stops her being egg bound. She will require this for life but it is an easy extra step to keep her happy and healthy.
Adoption Fee: $50 Location: New Hampshire |
Kimchi
Veiled Chameleon Kimchi is new to us and needs a little help. She requires a cham knowledgeable home to fit her needs. She is quite beautiful but has your typical attitude of don't touch me! She is tolerating change well but has her necessary wants and needs. She is available to experienced homes only due to her needs for growth. She has been progressing in the right way but is one of the more difficult chameleons to feed.

Brisket
Red Iguana WE LOVE BRISKET! He is such a great Iguana! He does get the typical male moodiness per his previous owner but so far we have not seen this. He loves all kinds of food! He does NOT like dogs but does not mind cats, even looking at a dog from a distance makes him very unhappy. He requires a very large enclosure and will not go to any home that can not accommodate this. Free roam is possible for him with the right set up, he is currently free roaming and likes to bask in a way too small zen cage that stays open. He's got a very strong opinion and would just open this cage instead of the nice tall basking area so he gets what he wants! Come meet this very large personality that is Brisket!

Soup
Bearded Dragon Soup is new to us but he already is very nice and plump. He will be available 5/20/22. He is said to be 8 years old but we do not have much information on him.
Why is he named soup? Because he has all the perfect ingredients to be the perfect pet. He isn't just the soup of the day, he is the soup of every day. Is he a chowder? A Cream? A Bisque? You'll have to come and find out the mystery that is Soup! Adoption Fee: $50 Location: New Hampshire |
Shrimp Scampi
Bearded Dragon Scampi came in with Soup, he is the worse looking of the two but he is eating well. He needs a lot of TLC but he is getting some deworming and some delicious food. We were told he is also 8 years old but he acts very flighty like a young baby. We don't think he was handled much if at all. He allows you to pick him up but he needs a lot more reassurance that you will not eat him and he is safe.
